SKI AREA KUNČICE - SKITECH

Ski resort Kunčice is situated in a calm mountain village Kunčice, which is 3 km far from Staré Město pod Sněžníkem nearby a mountain ridge called Kralický Sněžník in altitude 650 - 850 metres above sea level. The area offers 3 ski lifts with total capacity of 2500 people/hour and a special section for children that has its own lift for the smallest. There are 4,5 km of daily maintained downhill slopes. The length of slopes is between 600 and 1400 metres, which is suitable for both beginners and ambitious skiers. Central parking for cars and buses, free of charge, is situated at the beginning of the village Kunčice, directly under the entry to the ski lift Hájovna. There is a central ticket office, information, ski and snowboard rent, ski and snowboard school and a snack bar. In the center of the resort there is snowtubing with its own lift, snowpark, ski jump, snack bar, changing room and toilets. Artificial snow-making system covers 2,4 km of ski slopes, i.e. 60 %. Regularly maintained ski slope for evening skiing is about 700 metres long. At the same time snowtubing with lighting is available as well. In the ski resort there are enough accommodation facilities with total capacity of 350 beds. Restaurants offering hot meals for whole day lie 100 metres far from the centre of the village. In Staré město,3 km far from the resort, there is a cinema, museum, bowling, shops and restaurants and there is also the opportunity to take in petrol.
